This website is operated by SLOMO.IO under the Slomo brand. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of Slomo.
By visiting this website, purchasing the Slomo Shopify theme, purchasing an additional service, or otherwise using our website, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Please read these Terms carefully before accessing the website or purchasing our products or services. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the website or purchase Slomo.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
1. WHAT SLOMO IS
Slomo is a digital Shopify theme designed primarily for clothing and fashion stores.
Depending on the offer shown at the time of purchase, your purchase may include:
- The Slomo Shopify theme files
- Theme sections and layouts
- Product, collection, lookbook and other page templates
- Documentation and setup instructions
- Future theme updates
- Customer support
- Other features specifically shown as included on the Slomo website
Everything included with your purchase will be described on the website at the time you purchase Slomo.
2. DIGITAL PRODUCT
Slomo is a digital product. No physical product will be shipped.
After successful payment, you will receive access to the theme files or instructions explaining how to access them.
You are responsible for providing a valid email address and accurate purchase information.
3. LICENSE
Unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase, one Slomo license may be used on one Shopify store.
You may customize the theme for your own store, including its layouts, sections, colors, typography, images and code.
You may not:
- Redistribute or resell the Slomo theme
- Share the theme files with another person or business
- Upload the theme for public download
- Sell a modified version of Slomo as your own theme
- Use one license across multiple separate Shopify stores
- Remove or bypass licensing or access restrictions where applicable
If you want to use Slomo on another Shopify store, an additional license must be purchased.
4. CUSTOMIZATION
Slomo is designed to be customized through Shopify and through the settings included with the theme.
Examples shown on our website demonstrate possible ways Slomo can be used. Your own store may look different depending on your products, photography, branding, content and customization choices.
Some advanced changes may require custom code or additional development.
5. SHOPIFY
Slomo is made for use with Shopify.
You are responsible for maintaining your own Shopify account and subscription and for complying with Shopify’s terms and policies.
Shopify is a third-party platform and is not operated or controlled by us.
Changes made by Shopify to its platform, APIs, theme requirements or features may occasionally affect how Slomo works. Where reasonable, we may release updates to maintain compatibility.
6. THIRD-PARTY APPS
Slomo may be used together with third-party Shopify apps, integrations and services.
We cannot guarantee compatibility with every third-party application, script, integration or custom modification.
Problems caused by third-party apps, external code or modifications made outside Slomo may fall outside standard theme support.
7. UPDATES
Slomo purchases include future updates where this is stated on the product page at the time of purchase.
Updates may include bug fixes, compatibility improvements, design changes, new features or other improvements.
We may change, add, remove or redesign features as Slomo develops.
The availability of future updates does not mean that every existing feature will remain unchanged forever.
8. SUPPORT
Support is available for issues directly related to Slomo.
Support may include help with:
- Installing the theme
- Understanding theme settings
- Resolving theme-related problems
- Using included Slomo features
Standard support does not automatically include:
- Custom development
- Custom design work
- Changes to third-party applications
- Fixing code added by another developer
- Building or managing an entire Shopify store
If a request falls outside standard theme support, we will let you know before any additional paid work is carried out.
9. OPTIONAL STORE SETUP SERVICE
We may offer an optional paid service to install and configure Slomo for you.
Depending on the service purchased, setup may include:
- Installing Slomo
- Configuring theme settings
- Creating or setting up key pages
- Adding branding assets supplied by you
- Configuring product and collection layouts
- Setting up basic navigation
- Configuring light and dark modes
- Setting up other Slomo features agreed before work begins
The exact work included in the setup service will be confirmed before the service begins.
Requests outside the agreed scope may require an additional payment.
10. SHOPIFY PARTNER STORE SETUP
If you do not already have a Shopify store, we may help create one through our Shopify Partner account.
Where applicable, the store will later be transferred or handed over to you according to Shopify’s Partner procedures.
After the store is transferred, you are responsible for Shopify subscription fees and the continued operation of the account.
Creating a store through our Shopify Partner account does not mean that Shopify endorses Slomo or our services.
11. CUSTOMER CONTENT
When purchasing setup or customization services, you may provide us with logos, images, product photographs, text, fonts and other materials.
You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use any content you provide.
You remain the owner of your own branding, photography and content.
We are not responsible for copyright, trademark or other claims resulting from content supplied by you.
12. PRICING AND PAYMENT
Prices may change at any time without prior notice.
The price shown at checkout at the time of purchase is the price that applies to that transaction.
Theme purchases and optional services may have different prices.
Unless clearly stated otherwise, purchasing Slomo does not include:
- A Shopify subscription
- Paid Shopify apps
- A domain name
- Third-party services
- Custom development outside the included Slomo features
13. REFUNDS
Because Slomo is a digital product that can be accessed or downloaded immediately, theme purchases are generally non-refundable after access has been provided, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
We may consider refunds in situations such as:
- An accidental duplicate purchase
- A technical issue that prevents access to the purchased files and cannot reasonably be resolved
- Another exceptional situation at our discretion
For paid setup or customization services, refund eligibility will depend on how much work has already been completed.
If work has already started, any refund may be reduced to reflect the work already performed.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Slomo theme, including its original code, design system, layouts, graphics and related materials, remains our intellectual property unless otherwise stated.
Purchasing Slomo gives you a license to use the theme under these Terms. It does not transfer ownership of Slomo itself.
Your products, branding, photography and other content added to your store remain yours.
15. PROHIBITED USE
You may not use Slomo, our website or our services to:
- Break applicable laws
- Distribute malicious software
- Infringe intellectual property rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Redistribute or pirate Slomo
- Fraudulently obtain access to the theme or our services
- Resell Slomo or modified versions of Slomo without written permission
We may terminate access to support, updates or services if these Terms are materially violated.
16. WEBSITE INFORMATION
We try to keep the information on the Slomo website accurate and current.
However, occasional mistakes, outdated screenshots, typographical errors or differences between demo content and the latest version of Slomo may occur.
We may update product descriptions, screenshots, prices and features at any time.
17. AVAILABILITY OF SERVICES
We do not guarantee that the Slomo website, download system, support service or other online services will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
Temporary downtime, maintenance or technical issues may occur.
18. NO GUARANTEE OF SALES OR RESULTS
Slomo is a design and ecommerce tool.
Purchasing or using Slomo does not guarantee:
- Sales
- Revenue
- Conversion rates
- Traffic
- Business growth
- Any particular commercial result
The performance of your store depends on many factors outside our control, including your products, pricing, branding, marketing, traffic and customer experience.
19. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from the use or inability to use Slomo or related services.
This may include loss of revenue, profits, customers, data or business opportunities.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
20. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
Our website may contain links to Shopify or other third-party websites and services.
We are not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices or operation of third-party websites or services.
Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.
21. TERMINATION
These Terms remain effective while you use Slomo or our services.
We may suspend access to support or other services where there has been fraud, abuse, piracy, non-payment or a serious breach of these Terms.
License restrictions, intellectual property provisions and outstanding payment obligations continue to apply after termination.
22. CHANGES TO SLOMO
Slomo may continue to change and develop over time.
We may update, redesign, add or remove features where we believe this improves the theme or is necessary for compatibility with Shopify.
Screenshots and demonstrations on the website may occasionally show a different Slomo version from the version currently available.
23. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements relating to Slomo shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
24. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms when Slomo, our services or applicable requirements change.
The most recent version will always be published on this page together with the latest revision date.
Continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
25. MERCHANT OF RECORD
Purchases made through this website may be processed by Western Bid, Inc., acting as Merchant of Record.
Where applicable, “WESTERN BID” may appear on your PayPal, card or payment statement.
Payment processing, billing and certain transaction-related matters may also be subject to Western Bid’s applicable terms and policies.
